HARMONY 4E
Harmony 4E is a multichannel MPEG-2 PCI playback card. Just 3 /4 PCI size, the Harmony can simultaneously decode up to four MPEG-2 streams.
Video output is Composite, S-Video, RGsB & Component with MUSICAM stereo audio and Dolby ® Digital AC-3 via S/PDIF serial digital output for each video channel, MPEG-2 playback is supported in program stream. Harmony 4E also supports 256 color graphics overlay with 256 color-by-color transparency levels, making it ideal for digital signage and kiosk applications.
Harmony 4E provides real time transcoding between NTSC and PAL video format’s allowing NTSC files to play on PAL monitors and PAL files to play on NTCS monitors. This unique feature provides added flexibility of file content and playback options.
A complete C Programming library with sample source code and function calls is included with Harmony 4E. The API and SDK are derived from our popular ReelTime cards so it will run existing applications with minimal modifications and software development is more familiar. Harmony 4E also works with Vidcom applications and operates under Windows NT & 2000.
Developed for demanding commercial installations, Harmony offers unmatched versatility in operating software, file formats and playback options. The graphics overlay capabilities are ideal for digital signage and retail merchandising applications.
