A Scan Converter is a device converting the horizontal and vertical scan
rate in order to make the Computer and TV/Video display compatible with
each other.
A Scan Converter can be used in many applications, such as:
- Display PC
images on your TV,
- Record computer
presentations or videoconferencing on a videotape,
- Overlay graphic images
onto a video using a Genlock function.
